My Trash The Dress Pictures!

A few months ago, I did a "Trash the Dress" session with fab photographer Corinna Hoffman. We had a blast at the Jacksonville Fair, getting some fun and crazy shots! We just met up recently and Cory gave me my CD of images, so even though you all saw the teaser a few months ago, I wanted to post my favorites from the session!

For those of you that don't know..... we've moved!

That is, my family and I have moved into our new home. Some of you may be aware that we have been renovating a historic home over in the Springfield area of Jacksonville for close to a year and a half now. Well, the time finally came for us to move in! It's been quite exciting and I'll have to post pics soon.

But of course, with all the fun of moving also came the hassle. I was without internet access for a good bit of time, and while I did sneak away to Panera to keep up with my emails frequently, blogging took a bit of a backseat for the past few weeks.

But as of this weekend, we are wired (well, wirless actually) and I'll be back to my posting self! haha.

Lots of great weddings coming up for 2009 -- I'm excited to keep you all posted!

2009 Spring Interns... Announced!

A few months ago we announced our search for interns for the upcoming wedding season.

We want to take a moment to thank all of the applicants, but we've chosen two who applicants we'd love to have intern with Flaire Weddings and Events!

Before we give their names, just a brief recap of what the interns will do:

Office Time -- Interns will get hands on planning experience contacting vendors, brides, and working on organizational documents such as timelines, seating charts, checklists, and more

Blog Post -- We're giving each intern a chance to showcase her creativity by doing a wedding trend related guest blog post for the Flaire Weddings Blog!

Rehearsal and Wedding Day Assistance -- Interns will get upfront, actual wedding planning experience by assisting at a rehearsal and wedding! Duties will be varied, but typically include assisting with organizing and cueing the bridal party, setting and placing various decor items, and helping facilitate the event timeline.

Our two interns are actually both Flaire brides! One was one of our past brides, and the other has a wedding coming up this fall.
